i-Assist — Production AI Voice & Conversational Assistant
A production multimodal voice AI assistant built for ICICI Prudential's iInvest platform, enabling investors on Android and iOS to access live portfolio insights, fund comparisons, NAV metrics, and automated FAQs through natural speech.
What Was Built
Developed primarily by Dhruv Dixit at ICICI Prudential AMC, i-Assist represents an early production-scale voice AI implementation in Indian financial services. The system connects investor voice queries to real-time fund records, mutual fund fact-sheets, historical returns, and live portfolio valuations.
- Live Portfolio Valuation: Real-time integration with backend CAMS SOAP records and Manthan data lakehouse to fetch unrealized gains, folio balances, and top performing schemes.
- Scheme & Metric Comparisons: Side-by-side comparative analysis of mutual fund schemes, risk profiles, expense ratios, and historical annualized XIRR.
- Voice-First Conversational Experience: Low-latency streaming speech-to-text, real-time voice activity detection (VAD), and natural text-to-speech audio synthesis.
- Enterprise Guardrails: Strict SEBI statutory risk disclaimers, PII tokenization, and deterministic financial schema validation preventing hallucinations.
